2008 East Coast Challenge


Arrive alive is the major sponsor of the 2008 East Coast Challenge.

The Challenge is a special event in the 2008 Australian University sporting calendar.

The event aims to promote and increase student participation in sport and activities in a safe, competitive (not to mention fun) environment.

2008 East Coast Challenge Opening
The 200 East Coast Challenge is officially open. The event was formally launched on 2 June at the Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre. For a full report, click here.

Competiting Unis
This year, Arrive alive will be publishing content detailing the campaigns of competing university at this year's Challenge. Click here to check out the 2008 East Coast Challenge Universities.

The Challenge will comprise 11 'Arrive alive Sports' which are fiercely contested over four days of competition. They are:

Basketball (Men & Women), Lawn Bowls (Open), Hockey (Men & Women), Football {Soccer} (Men & Women), Touch (Men ,Women & Mixed), Ultimate Frisbee (Mixed), Netball (Women & Mixed), Rugby League 7's (Men), Swimming - Duel in the Pool (Mixed), Tennis (Men & Women) & Water Polo Fast 5's (Men & Women).
