Sports Alive

Adam started his involvement with the surf industry in 1998, running a local Boardriding club at North Steyne. His love of the sport saw him move into the role as President of the Northern Beaches Surfing Association in 2000 working within his region running minor surfing events.

His expertise as an event director and coordinator led to a full-time role in 2002 operating professional contests with a focus on junior development in the ASP Australasia region. Since then Adam has run over 100 events including World Qualifying Series, World Championship Tour, and Pro Juniors.

The Ocean and Earth Teenage Rampage is one of Adam's most successful and longest serving contests. It event has become of the most prestigious grommet events in the country with the honours roll reading like a who's who of junior surfing talent from around the world.

Competitor numbers keep increasing with last years event attracting 220 surfers from 10 countries.

Some of the sports biggest names have graced the trophies with Current World Tour surfers, Ben Dunn (Aus), Jordy Smith (South Africa), Jeremy Flores (France) and Jesse-Miley-Dyer (Aus), all past winners of the event.

The calibre of entrants speak for themselves - the event has an enviable record with 9 former world junior champions having won titles in different age groups at the teenage rampage.

The Alive alive Air-show is now proudly part of what is a magical four days of surfing and the 2007 line-up will see some of the world's best aerialists displaying incredible acrobatics.

The event takes place at Sydney's Curl Curl Beach from 27th to 30th of December with the Air-Show taking place from Friday, the 28th.
