 |  Votes on the Triple J countdown website topped the 700,000 mark for the first time.
US rockers Kings of Leon took out third place with their song On Call, while Australian tracks - the John Butler Trio's Better Than and Faker's Heart Attack - took fourth and fifth places respectively. Silverchair, the John Butler Trio and Sydney singer-songwriter Josh Pyke each had three songs in the top 100.
And home-grown artists took 10 of the top 20 spots, and 51 of the 100. Not bad for Australia Day!!!!
