A club built on 30 years of history, an NBL Championship, community rallies, and the most loyal supporters in the league...

The Wollongong Hawks have been in the National Basketball League for 30 years, owned and operated by a shareholder base. Wollongong Hawks Basketball Pty Ltd has experienced great success in recent years, the pinnacle of this success - winning the 2000/01 National Basketball League Championship.

The Hawks finished in the top 4 at the end of the regular season for 6 of the past 8 seasons, and are traditionally nicknamed the "Road Warriors" in the competition for their tenacious spirit when visiting other teams. The Wollongong Hawks have adopted the tagline "Pride & Passion" to encompass the spirit within the club and to represent the team plays on and off the court.
